Orientation Week

After bumming around the island for the weekend, we have started Orientation this week.  It has been quite productive.  We got lots of info about island life, safety, and other things to expect.  We got all of our administrative stuff taken care of like our student visa application, setting up internet (won't be installed until next week!  Guess I'll have to keep sneaking over to the library), getting our ID's and financial aid stuff, etc.  I've breezed through all of it with ease.  At the student visa application desk, the person taking the papers complimented me on being the only student so far who has had all her papers together in the correct order.  Go me!  Things have been on a tight schedule to get everything done. I can't wait to get everything taken care of so I can start concentrating on classes and coursework.  I'm so excited that for the first time in my life all of my classes will be on topics which interest me!  I have to run to go take my tour of the island now, more info later.  I promise!
